Transaction Protector Overview

Transaction Protector helps safeguard online transactions made when using a wireless Internet connection. It can check the safety of both the network connection and the Web page currently open. To prevent information theft, Transaction Protector can also encrypt what you type into Web pages, including personal information like passwords and credit card numbers.

Using Transaction Protector

Transaction Protector includes a browser toolbar that changes color to show the safety of your wireless connection. You can also click the toolbar button to use these features:

  • Keystroke Encryption—hides what you type from keyloggers.
  • Wi-Fi Advisor—checks the safety of nearby wireless networks.
  • Site Inspector—determines if the Web page currently open could pose a security risk.

Installation Requirements

You can install Transaction Protector after successfully installing Trend Micro Internet Security Pro.

Browser Requirements

Transaction Protector can safeguard transactions made using these Web browsers:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 with Service Pack 2 (SP2)*
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0

*For Windows XP

Internet Connection

  • High-speed (broadband) Internet access recommended.
